We don’t really celebrate Valentine’s Day too much except a small nod to the occassion. I don’t like getting flowers unless they come in a planter so at least they have a chance to live a long time. Give me a cactus 🌵 and I’m happy ❤️

I asked my husband to buy and cut wood for me as a V-day gift but we forgot about the stores being in lockdown. I wanted to make more houses (see photo. I made those)
He came home with sparkling wine instead. White & pink! I bought him a big heart full of chocolates. And I bought Ella some stuff. I pretty much like any excuse to celebrate. It breaks the monotony of daily life.
Today is my “free day” for eating. We are having cheese and chocolate fondue.
I used to be a love junkie….looking for love in all the wrong places. I was a bit of a train wreck. I was too much. Eventually I stopped looking and love found me. I’ve been with my husband 13 years (married 11.5) . He can handle my crazy.
