Cold but very beautiful day! My first ozempic injection!
I had a bit of a cheat meal today. It had a bit of chickpea protein, brown rice, and added sugar…..it was cauliflower pizza with non dairy cheese and no gluten. And even though the pizza was small I still saved some for tomorrow π it wasn’t a horrible cheat but it wasn’t the clean, whole food, non processed Paleo I’ve been eating since Jan 1st. I added nutritional yeast to make it a “double cheese” pizza π
My other meal today was scrambled eggs with salsa, taco beef and non dairy queso! The weight of lockdown, virtual schooling and winter is getting to me. I feel like by allowing myself some flexibility and grace I will be able to keep at it. I haven’t had Daiya in YEARS! side note: years ago I was vegan for about 6 months.
Is this a slippery slope? Am I doomed to fail every time I go a little off course? I don’t think so. Tomorrow I’m making better choices. It’s already planned. Whole30 zuppa tuscana soup (see past post with the same name). Yummy.
I’m actually surprised at how good this pizza was. That in itself tells you how healthy I’ve been eating π
10 days left of my January challenge. 11 days until I weigh in and have a real cheat day. Then gear up to start a new challenge in February. I’m still undecided for Feb. Maybe just low carb. Lazy, dirty Keto. Hello cheese, goodbye potatoes!πππ
The last two days I’ve been struggling with headaches. I’m drinking tons of water. Feels like sinus pressure. Idk.
