You know that you are acclimated to the weather when your conversation goes like this:
Me: is it cold outside?
B: no
Get outside and think it’s not too bad outside. Get into car and check the temperature on the dash of my car and it says 19F/-7C.
By Canadian winter standards -7C is not very cold. Especially if it’s sunny with no windchill. -20 to -40C is cold lol.
Perspective haha. Back in Oklahoma we used to feel cold when the temperature would still technically be warm outside. I thought we would struggle to acclimate back to Canadian winters. This is our second winter back. We are doing just fine ☺️
